In Loving Memory of Jonathan
October 10, 2006 – June 11, 2022

Jonathan entered this world on October 10, 2006, a blessing from God whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew him. From the very beginning, he was filled with a quiet strength, a gentle heart, and a deep love for others. Though his journey here was far too short, his life was rich in love, kindness, and purpose.

Jonathan had a natural gift for helping people. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer a smile, or share words of encouragement. His compassion for others was genuine and deeply felt, a reflection of the beautiful soul God created in him. One of his greatest joys was volunteering at Angel’s Attic Pantry, where he gave his time freely to serve those in need. His willingness to help without expecting anything in return was a true example of love in action.

He dearly loved and cherished his four older siblings, who were not only his family but also his closest companions and protectors. The bond they shared was unbreakable, filled with laughter, care, and unforgettable memories. Jonathan also held a special love for his niece Abigail and his nephews, who brought him immense joy. From the very day Abigail was born until the day Jonathan left this earth, he could almost always be found with her in his arms. He adored her so much that he was unwilling to share her with anyone else—unless, of course, it was time for her diaper to be changed. That bond was precious and unshakable, a symbol of the deep love and gentleness that defined Jonathan’s heart.

On June 11, 2022, Jonathan was called home to the Lord. While his absence leaves a space no words can fill, his spirit continues to live within each life he touched. His kindness, his laughter, and his love remain with us, reminding us daily of the precious gift of his time here on earth.

Jonathan’s final act of love came through the Gift of Life program. His organs, tissues, and even his skin were donated so that others might live, heal, and recover. Burn victims may now experience relief, patients in need of healing can begin to rebuild, and others are blessed by the strength and wholeness his gift provides. His love now covers and protects others, just as his skin does through this incredible gift. Even in death, Jonathan continued doing what he loved most—helping people. His generosity ensured that his light would not be extinguished but instead carried forward in the lives of many.

We are comforted in knowing that Jonathan’s love and legacy live on—not only in the memories we hold but also in the very lives sustained, strengthened, and healed by his final act of selflessness. Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life that continues to bless others in the most extraordinary way.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18

Jonathan will forever be remembered, forever missed, and forever loved.
