John died while waiting for a heart transplant that never came. He left behind his wife, two beautiful children, and a legacy of generosity through the countless bones and tissues he donated - giving others the gift of life. He was a big man with an even bigger heart, whose love for those around him knew no limits. He is missed every day. He made us better, showed us how to love freely, and left behind a space that can never truly be filled. To him today, on Donor Remembrance Day, we say thank you! We love you.
