Hazel, my grandmother, experienced a short health battle, that sadly resulted in her unexpected passing, leaving behind her husband, 6 children, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren that loved her deeply.
Hazel was the glue that held the family together. A straightforward, gentle, loving, woman that brought love and joy to those around her. She was my best friend first & my grandmother second. The pain of losing her has been profound for all that loved her. Though we are saddened she is no longer with us, we find comfort that someone else has a gift of life through her donation.

Hazel loved her family, her husband, her pets, seeing her children, and spending time with her siblings. She was so proud of the adults her children turned out to be.
The decision to donate her tissues was something I made on my own & I did it because she loved helping others. If she could make a difference she would no matter what. I knew this is what she wanted and would be proud that i did it.
Though our time with her was short, we are happy to know someone else can see because of her. ❤️
