Avery became a donor on December 25th, 2024. He was born September 1, 2000. He graduated from Mifflin County High School in 2019 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023 with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fly fisherman. He also was an accomplished guitar player and played in various worship teams at his church through his teenage years.

Avery was a very caring person which made the decision to donate to the Gift of Life an easy one. Avery was only able to donate his corneas due to a cancer diagnosis. We pray that the recipients of his donation look at the world and others around them as Avery would; with understanding, a kind heart and a great sense of humor.
