I am forever thankful for the time I had with Amber. She was always someone that was able to put a smile on your face no matter the situation. Her personality was unique to her, and she was always someone you wanted to be around. Amber touched everyone around her, including myself and my faith and I am grateful that I got to know her as one of my best friends. Her memory lives on and I know I will see her again.
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall their be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore.

I had been on the transplant list for 2.5 years when I received the call that a liver had been identified, as I was given 3-5 years without a transplant, my life clock was literally ticking away. I am extremely and forever blessed and grateful for Amber’s family. I know the decision that her parents made was selfless and filled with hope and love in giving others the opportunity to live. Amber gave me and others a second chance at life. A part of Amber lives within me allowing me to continue to be here, and I can only hope and promise to keep Amber alive for as long as I am able to. I have formed a friendship with her mother Jennifer and have found out what a loving and giving person Amber was. Amber was a beautiful soul.

Amber and I were friends since we were babies. My favorite memories: When we were little I was at her house and we were on the swing set and we heard the ice cream truck. We were screaming and pulling her mom out of the house to chase the ice cream truck and she kept yelling at us as she was chasing the ice cream truck, and Amber and I ran behind her laughing! Then we got the ice cream and I got a Sponge Bob pop and when I ate the gumball eyeball I spit it out and it shot out of my mouth and we laughed so hard we shook the swing set. I also remember Jen taking us to the movies to see Cats & Dogs and in parts we laughed hysterically and had such a good time. I always remember laughing with Amber, and I can’t wait to laugh again with her in Heaven.

Amber was a very charismatic, joyful, selfless, and loving girl. One of her favorite things to do was hang out with her friends. If you needed something, she would be there in an instant. The love of God shined through her with everyone she met. Her joy was contagious. Her personality was truly one of a kind. Amber inspires me to this day to live my life with the love and joy Jesus has given me.
The one attribute of Amber's that sticks out the most, to those of us who knew her well, was how she loved everyone unconditionally, even those she hadn’t known for very long. Her love was fierce and unshakable. She didn’t care about your past, or how much money you made, or what kind of clothes you had. She loved because that’s the kind of love she learned to have for others through her faith in Jesus. She loved like he loved, and it was clear how that love affected people at her funeral. All the people that came to her memorial couldn’t even fit inside the church. Her memory lives on in Kinsley.
